Sceptre X195BV-HD 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black I had picked during the month of Dec 2009 really cheap! Brand new for 2009 model was listed on their site. As it states 19" LCD HDTV 720p/1080i is actually 18.5. So that is the only downfall to this set. Using the set as HDTV not bad I can use DTV feature even on COX without the digital HDTV box, this might vary within the States though. Anyway watching a CBS HD on a football game is very sharp looking with vivid colors. Using a digital HDTV box will yield better enhancements that the RAW broadcast signal. The set only has one input for each: RF, Composite-Video + Stereo Audio, S-Video, Component Video, VGA VGA/DVI shared using a adapter through VGA for DVI (HDCP video device only) and HDMI. There is two audio inputs one for the PC and the other is for headphones. The power supply unit is not built-in just like a laptop type with cord. All the connections are to the left side of the set. You can see them, but you can also use Velcro to hide them.

Using the DTV feature does give you a DTV Program Guide that works only with CBS HD. But it does work. The prior member said the sound wasn't good. I don't know about that member but I ran Hauppauge MediaMVP through it using MY Music Player and the MP3 sounds crisp and loud Yes the volume on this set is loud. Which isn't bad the volume amp is stronger than even some larger HDTV as it uses that new clone sound feature that comes from under the screen. There is a amber blue light that comes on when you turn on the set and then when you turn it off turns to red. Not bright blue glow like other sets in its class.

The remote has a lot of tiny buttons for all kinds of stuff. You also get favorite menu feature doesn't seem to be a limit to how huge of a list that can hold all your SD or HD channels. Any universal learning remote can be use with this set is what I use with it.

I just got this today, and I was very happy with the picture, but the sound is pretty bad. It is OK for me because I will use it in the kitchen and only for short viewing, but I am disappointed that TV makers disregard sound this much. I would have probably not bought it had I heard it first, although I am not sure if other 19" TVs are any better.
